Thanks Rick and guys for the expedient and courteous action in removing my brother's household "heirlooms" at his house in Newcastle. It was a huge job but worth every penny! We would highly recommend your services to all folks, but especially seniors who have difficulty managing the physical disposal of years of accumulated furniture, appliances, books, clothing, electronics, tools, tires.....and on and on!!

Fantastic service. They called to say they were ahead of schedule, showed up promptly. Job was done in no time and at the lowest end of the quote. Would absolutely use them again.

Just had my first removal job with this company and I have to say that I was genuinely impressed with Rick and his company.
He was very courteous and answered all of my questions. I was very nervous about the price since most of the big name companies are very expensive.
Rick came by, gave me a great quote and then quickly removed everything I showed him plus a little bit more. He was very funny, came earlier than expected and everything went so smoothly. I would definitely recommend Rick for any removal job and will call him if I need his services in the future.

This company is not only professional but there price is FANTASTIC. I called around and was quoted double from the bigger name companies.

Professional, personable, punctual and extremely AFFORDABLE, I have used other “advertised companies” in the past and called around again this time with same results. “We will have to see first to quote”. And of course, surprises of higher dollars when they arrive. Not AMPM! Rick listened to what I needed (the dreaded piano and some tires) and provided a very reasonable quote and came the next day. Even when I added a very heavy and falling apart wood stove, he gave a price on the spot, again shockingly fair and reasonable, and had it gone in minutes! I highly recommend AMPM and also as someone else mentioned, supporting local business is always a win for everyone. THANK YOU AMPM for making a tough time a little bit easier for me. I will be calling again for the next project!

AMPM saved the day for us! Another company kept us waiting all day until we were in a very tight spot. Rick was at our house within 10 minutes, and all the junk was gone within 20 minutes! We have used ampm on numerous occasions, always meaning to leave a testimonial (but neglecting to do so!). These guys are GREAT!
This time Rick and Mike just left and once again did a quick, efficient and professional job. Rick is always fair when quoting a price and sticking to it. Even when the truck door is closed and we find something else that needs to go at the last second, ("oops I forgot this little rug here......), Rick doesn't get upset or add on to the cost. When I had exhausted all options of donating our piano, we decided to use a junk removal company. There are so many companies, I didn't know who to use. I checked Homestars and decided to give AMPM a call. From the moment I called to inquire about pricing to the time they came, they were really professional. Pricing was competitive. good honest working men. they can be counted on and are affordable.
they are on time and they will call in advance to know if they can show up earlier because they are ahead of schedule.
and when they show up they are friendly, respectful and in good spirits. no junk is too big as they break it down themselves. they give us tips with chemical and where to go to drop them off. called them 3 times to remove junk and will continue to count on them. thank guys!!!

Our household highly recommends AMPM junk removal. We were very pleased with the removal of household items in late November 2015 in Ajax, Ontario.

I have worked in the office building construction and office fit up sector for 30 years. Have dealt with many movers, junk removal companies.

I can say that Rick and his staff are a highly competent and cost effective team:

1) Cost effective - Versus the bigger corporate rivals, AMPM provides better value for your $ spent
2) Business Competency - Rick, in particular, is an astute business person. Rick returned telephone calls and emails promptly with courtesy and detail
3) Efficiency. Rick's team was flexible and nimble and prompt in adjusting schedules for the customer's and AMPM's mutual benefit
4) Customer Needs Awareness - The team immediately noticed the hardwood floors so they took extra measures to ensure that the bulky furniture being removed would not fall and damage the floors
5) Process Protocol - Rick and his team had a very apparent protocol and code words to guide the team in navigating from the 2nd floor to the entrance door
6) Friendly - Rick and the gentlemen were real people, friendly and kind

Another point for potential customers - many people are aboard the "local food movement" ie supporting local food providers.

May I suggest that this philosophy can be in play when considering AMPM - this company is a local small organization in Durham up against the big corporate organizations which operate outside Durham and the GTA.

When you have a choice and all considerations are close to equal - please consider choosing the smaller companies like AMPM - your decision supports the continuing success of small companies in a world of corporate consolidations and massive job losses.

Choosing AMPM would also support Durham Region.

Don't look any further. Make sure you call Rick at AMPM Junk Removal for all your removal needs. Called on a Monday of a long weekend. Got a call back that evening. Arranged to meet Rick the next day at noon to remove items. He called 10 minutes prior to arrival. Was there on time. Removed items very quickly and efficiently. Price was great. Service outstanding. Am pm junk removal was the cheapest quote I got to remove my bedframe box spring and closet doors. The quote I got from 1800gotjunk was almost $200!! Rick showed up within a hour of my call and got the job done fast and efficiently for a much much smaller price.
